Florida Republican Rep. Anna Paulina Luna vowed to hold “criminal” Democrat Adam Schiff accountable for lying about the Trump-Russia investigation which ripped the country apart.
During an interview with Fox News, Paulina Luna discussed the ongoing efforts to hold Schiff accountable for pushing the now phony Trump-Russia investigation despite having no evidence.
“I will speak to Adam Schiff. Maria, I have a privileged resolution that I’m bringing to the floor, and we are going to find that man 16 million dollars for using his position to lie to the American people and ultimately push something that not only destroyed our country but ripped us apart and I believe, maybe even permanently damaging foreign relations. He is a criminal, and Adam Schiff; you,” Paulina Luna said.
“And yet, he was privileged to information that not even I or many of my colleagues would be able to see,” Paulina Luna added.
“He used that position. He absolutely aided and abetted a corrupt FBI into investigating a sitting president.”
As The Daily Fetched reported in May, Paulina Luna introduced a resolution that would fine Rep. Adam Schiff $16 million for propagating lies that President Donald Trump colluded with Russia to win the 2016 election.
The amount is only half of the cost of the federal investigation into the Trump-Russia collusion, according to Luna.
“The GOP Conference agrees that Adam Schiff has betrayed the trust of the American people, purposely abused positions of extreme authority, lied continuously, and as such, must be held to account,” Luna said at the time.
“Accordingly, the resolution requires Rep. Schiff to pay a $16 million dollar fine, half of the cost American taxpayers were forced to pay for the Russia hoax investigation.”
“I just filed a privileged resolution, H. Res. 437, to censure, condemn, & fine Rep. Adam Schiff $16 million (1/2 the cost of the Russia investigation) for his egregious abuse of trust. I, with my GOP colleagues, look forward to an imminent vote to hold this feckless man accountable,” Luna tweeted.
Her tweet got an immediate response from Schiff:
Paulina Luna also introduced a measure to expel Democrat Schiff from the House of Representatives after the Durham report revealed he repeatedly lied about the Trump-Russia “collusion.”
Schiff repeatedly lied to the American people, claiming he had “evidence” of Trump’s collusion with Russia.
It was all a lie.
“Adam Schiff lied to the American people,” Luna said. “He used his position on House Intelligence to push a lie that cost American taxpayers millions of dollars and abused the trust placed in him as Chairman.
“He is a dishonor to the House of Representatives. The Durham Report makes clear that the Russian Collusion was a lie from day one, and Schiff knowingly used his position in an attempt to divide our country,” she added.
