I need to start preparing you guys for next week. After a two-year hiatus for a virus, the courts are finally back to holding jury trials. They were sidelined because jury trials can’t be effectively conducted over Zoom. Now my turn has come up, and one of my cases is going to trial next week, Tuesday through Friday.

Conducting a jury trial well is one of the most physically and mentally demanding parts of a litigator’s job. I’ve never done a jury trial while blogging before. I have no idea what kind of blogging time I’m going to have. I’m thinking it will be pretty thin, at best. But don’t worry! I’ll make it up to you guys on the back side, I promise.

*COVID NEWS AND COMMENTARY*

Yesterday, Florida Voice ran a story headlined, “Supreme Court Grants DeSantis Request for Grand Jury to Investigate Human Smuggling from Southern Border.”

The article reported that DeSantis ask the Supreme Court to impanel a special statewide grand jury to investigate and prosecute people who are helping relocate illegal aliens into Florida. The order also authorizes investigation of a host of related offenses, including crimes involving narcotics, bribery, computer-related crimes, fraud, and money laundering.

Get ready.

It’s a brilliant strategy, and once again, Florida is leading, showing other states how to push back against the federal government’s scheme to drop aliens off all over the country.

“People coming illegally, a lot of them are trying to get here in the state of Florida,” DeSantis told reporters when he filed the petition. “This is something that absolutely affects us. Corporate media is going to lose its collective mind when arrests begin.

🔥 Columbian media outlet Cambio broke a story this week shedding a lot of light on vaccine “science.” On October 9, 2021, Pfizer splurged on a gala event on a yacht in Miami harbor attended by Colombian politicians, lobbyists, and Pfizer executives, billed as a lobbying event, since Pfizer “seeks to expand” its business in that country. I’ll let you decide for yourselves, but the “lobbying event” seems to me to be more of a sordid debauch than a “get to know you” reception.

The images broadcast by the media show practically naked young ladies cavorting and drinking alcohol along with Columbian presidential candidate Hernández, other politicians, lobbyists, and Pfizer executives. In the video, Hernández dances playfully with one young woman and, at another point can be seen whispering sweet nothings in another woman’s ear.

Hernández, the older gentleman in the video, is one of Colombia’s presidential candidates. According to Cambio’s intel, the young women and the yacht set Pfizer back ELEVEN MILLION DOLLARS. In other words, Pfizer paid $11M for ONE PARTY just for a CANDIDATE. That’s literally unimaginable. Try it. Try to imagine a lifestyle where you attend $11M yacht parties.

How much have they spent entertaining politicians overall, on ALL the parties?

Cambio also reported that its investigation showed Columbia overpaid a little for the Pfizer vaccine. A little meaning $375 MILLION DOLLARS. Plus, it agreed to give Pfizer blanket liability, meaning injured Columbians, whose tax dollars paid for the vaccines, now have no recourse against the pharmaceutical giant. Sorry!

My question is, how many of these “events” has Pfizer offered to other politicians in the name of “lobbying?” Isn’t this more of a sex bribe? How many politicians can really be bought off this cheaply?

There should be a formal investigation of all lobbying efforts related to the vaccines and to figure out how these international contracts were negotiated, at minimum. What has Pfizer “provided” to U.S. politicians? If we only had a government that wasn’t captured by pharmaceutical interests, we might find out the answers to these questions someday.

Maybe the Russians will do it.

🔥 Okay, this next story is absolutely bonkers. I PROMISE I am not making this up. Yesterday I told you about the J6 Committee’s newest star surprise witness, Cassidy Hutchinson, who testified among other things that President Trump tried to grab the steering wheel of the Presidential limousine to go fight at the Capitol.

Even though it was a facially laughable claim, and even though Hutchinson was testifying about hearsay — she wasn’t there herself — the Committee and corporate media credulously lapped it all up, for about ten seconds anyway, until people who WERE there, like Secret Service agents, started popping up with lawyers, ready to testify that it never happened. Whoops.

The story exploded on social media, and in one dramatic development, MSNBC was interviewing oily House Representative and Committee member Jamie Raskin when it appears somebody tells him something in his earpiece, and then he promptly hangs up on the interview. With me so far? It gets better. Next, remember how I told you a couple days ago about this anonymous online person or group named “Q” who had the corporate media in a tizzy this week because he’d reappeared after a long hiatus? And how the media’s over-reaction was making me think there might be something to this Q person after all?

Yesterday, the Cassidy Hutchinson story connected to the Q story in a giant shower of sparks. Bzzzzt!

So, early in the morning yesterday, before Cassidy’s testimony, the Q account posted a cryptic message mentioning her:

This is how badly Cassidy Hutchinson’s awful over-the-top testimony hurt the Committee: people began speculating that the former aide was actually a false-flag torpedo — a plant — designed to sink the Committee’s credibility battleship. That’s how awful the testimony’s fallout was.

And then the story got even crazier! It’s not just online Q fans speculating about Q knowing or predicting that Hutchinson was a plant. The House Committee emailed the guy who runs the online site where Q posts, Ron Watkins, asking him if he’d accept service of a subpoena:

So even the House Committee now suspects Q — whoever they are — might have known something, and more hilariously, even the House is wondering if Cassidy was a plant! Hahahahahaha!

Look: this is litigation 101. To avoid embarrassment, before you call a hearsay witness, do some basic due diligence to confirm their story.

I don’t know what is really going on, or who or what Q is, or how incompetent the J6 Committee could possibly be, although I could guess, but this is one of those stories that makes me wonder whether we’re actually living in a simulation and the bored night shift staff just got creative.

Correction Corner: This week, I unfairly discounted Q’s early predictions of arrests and prosecutions of an alleged elite international pedophile network. In fact there HAVE been arrests and prosecutions meeting that description: Jeffrey Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell, and most recently, R Kelly. Plus, Epstein’s arrest does actually seem near-miraculous; after decades of bulletproof political protection, he was suddenly unprotected. How?

🔥 MAILBAG: After I reported on the US-linked Armenian biolabs, and Russia’s related complaints, a commenter criticized me for credulously falling for former KGB-leader Vladimir Putin’s psyop, since Putin was just using the Armenian biolabs story as prop to attack America, or something. I’d like to set the record straight.

Bioweapons research is illegal, both internationally and within the U.S. It seems unlikely to me that there’s any good excuse for the U.S. to be building expensive, high-tech biolabs in all these unsecure third-world countries where laws aren’t well enforced and local officials are easily bribed. But maybe there IS a good excuse? IF SO LET’S HEAR IT.

What’s the excuse?

If Russia’s biolab complaints are in fact just a psyop, tell us WHY. If the labs are just innocent but misunderstood good-faith research outposts diligently toiling away in the third world to keep us safe in America, by studying bugs in remote places like Ukraine, Nicaragua, and Armenia, then just OPEN THE LABS.

Frankly, I would go, myself, but I’m guessing they wouldn’t even let me in the parking lot, much less the building. For safety or something.

If we really are acting in good faith, END THE MEDIA EMBARGO on the story. Sure, I get it, why repeat Russian propaganda? But the Russian propaganda is WORKING. It’s making us look terrible. Therefore ignoring the propaganda seems like a reckless strategy.

You know what would defuse the Russian propaganda? TRANSPARENCY.

Let’s see the contracts, the staffing, the inventories, the shipments. If the labs aren’t military, there’s no need for secrecy. If they ARE military, it looks a whole lot like either laws are being outright broken, or the government is exporting operations that would be illegal IN the United States to third world countries and remote areas where local folks are ill-equipped to resist.

Remote places like, say, Wuhan, China. And we all know what Book of Revelations-style fruit flowered from that innocent little research outpost. After Wuhan, the National Institutes of Health does NOT get the benefit of the doubt. They need to start showing their work. Like, now.

Maybe Russia has manifestly earned a lot of fair criticism. But sadly, we are in no place to criticize them, not until our own house is squeaky-clean. Russia is taking advantage of our real or apparent hypocrisy.

My vote is: dump the dissembling and start the scrubbing.

💉 Oh no! Poor Dr. Fauci. The nation’s Top Covid Doc recently came down with a symptomatic case of the virus, as you know. The old beagle torturer must have thought he was at risk, because he started taking Paxlovid. Now THIS happens. He just can’t catch a break.

The Hill ran a story yesterday headlined, “What Is COVID-19 ‘Rebound’? CDC Explains Phenomenon Affecting Fauci, Some Paxlovid Users.” Uh oh.

That’s right. Fauci fell victim to Paxlovid rebound, where people taking the miracle drug catch an even worse case of covid after seeming to improve for a few days. On the fourth day of his treatment using the safe and effective drug, Fauci tested positive AGAIN. He also began to experience worsening symptoms. “It was sort of what people are referring to as a ‘Paxlovid rebound,’” Fauci told reporters.

“Sort of.” And, it’s not a drug failure, dummies. It’s a “rebound.”

So what’s a covid expert like Fauci to do? There’s only one possible option, and he bravely accepted it. Fauci confirmed he is currently taking ANOTHER course of Paxlovid! Hahaha! Of course! If it doesn’t work the first time, do it MORE!

Fauci said Tuesday that he’s feeling “reasonably good,” but “not completely without symptoms.” For now, the 82-year-old bureaucrat has to stay home from work. The Hill reported Fauci will return to his job at the NIH once he tests negative for the virus.

So!

🔥 MonkeyPox Update! The latest figures show two countries with so many proportional Monkeypox cases they are clear outliers: Portugal, in second place, and Vatican City, in first.

Now, in fairness, Vatican City has a tiny population, so only a few cases would tilt it toward the high end of the proportional scale. But still. The Vatican. Don’t make me say it.

So at least we know where some of that $60 billion we’ve sent to Ukraine so far is going. I bet the Swiss properties are nice, too. One of them sold for $9 million dollars.

🚀 The Ukrainians have finally blown the Russians off tiny Snake Island, which media now reports is a “key” strategic location, a fact they completely failed to mention during the last two months of Russian occupation.

For its part, the Russian Ministry of Defense laughably said it voluntarily retreated in an act of “goodwill.”

🚀 The latest debate about whether Ukraine or Russia is worse involves a blown-up urban shopping mall in Kyiv that Ukraine says Russia deliberately targeted, and Russia says was right next to an ammo storage warehouse, which was the actual target, and the shopping mall just got caught in the explosion’s fallout.

Clean version: whoever is to blame, why the heck would the moronic government of Ukraine store high-value ammo right next to a downtown shopping mall? Why not put it out in the country somewhere where explosions can’t hurt anybody? Dummies. They’re using their own citizens as human shields to protect their assets.
