Coffee & Covid, Friday, June 17, 2022: TROOPS AND PLANES

I’m pretty certain that Mr Childers is not making this stuff up- well, maybe the transcript of the call with AG Garland. People, think logically about what this administration is doing; what the legacy media is not doing; the implications for not only America, but the world. mrossol

 *THE C&C ARMY POST*

OPERATION MULTIPLIER UPDATE: Yesterday, we multiplied Harriet Hageman, who is Liz Cheney’s opponent in the Wyoming Republican primary. We are sending a loud and clear message about the grotesque January 6 Television Series. If we do what we usually do, Ms. Hageman will have a nice bump in fundraising but even better she can report about all the thousands of new individual donations this week.

If you missed it yesterday, it’s not too late: https://secure.winred.com/hageman-for-wyoming/coffeeandcovid. Do it right now!

Remember, even if you can’t afford much, it still helps. Donate $1.02 if that’s all you can comfortably afford, and you’ll still be a part of the Operation. It’s super important: We are learning to work together like a well-oiled mask-shredding machine.

MAILBAG: I got some gentle and not inappropriate chiding in the comments about sometimes leaning too much into conservative politics, making the posts irritating to my liberal readers. I used to say this a lot, but I need to repeat it now: I love my liberal readers! I totally get that a healthy two-party system is critical for a functioning democracy.

The problem right at the moment — for us ALL — is that the 2022 democrat party has been hijacked by woke leftists who love mandates and govern more like Chinese dictators than classic liberals. Classic liberals value human rights, bodily integrity, medical freedom, freedom of speech, religious liberty, and worker’s protections, for just a few examples.

I desperately want to go back to the days when I can be the type of republican who only cares about low taxes and small government. We are in a real crisis when the REPUBLICANS have to take over defending basic human rights and freedoms and employees’ rights. Guys — and I’m talking directly to you democrats and former dems — we are all in the boiling bouillabaisse together now.

Things are all upside-down and backwards. Republicans used to defend corporations and their profits. Now the big companies have been hijacked, just like democrat leadership, and republicans are forced to fight their former corporate allies. See, e.g., Disney. Just like you dems now have to fight your own leadership. And if you still ain’t convinced, try explaining to me how classic liberalism is at all consistent with the 2022 Democrat party’s cozy new relationship with big companies and foreign wars.

In other words — and here is my point — the Republican Party is the ONLY party defending classically liberal values. If you are a classic liberal of whatever party, you’re welcome here. American politics have coalesced into two new parties: the freedom party and the authoritarian party.

Classic liberals are welcome here, and I mean no offense to them. But woke leftists can already read the corporate media, they don’t need to bother with C&C. They can buzz off.

*COVID NEWS AND COMMENTARY*

Swanky maskless diner and California Governor Gavin Newsom waded into Trumpland yesterday, dropping a tweet, or truth, or whatever it’s called there, on Trump’s social media platform Truth Social. It went over like a lead misinformation balloon:

Twitter avatar for @JeffOnTheRightJeff Charles @JeffOnTheRight
This guy is gonna be the Democrats’ nominee in 2024 and I couldn’t be happier. Tweets like this make me hopeful for the future. #Winning

Gavin Newsom @GavinNewsom

I just joined Trump’s Truth Social. Going to be on there calling out Republican lies. This could get…interesting. My first post — breaking down America’s red state murder problem. https://t.co/5IxSCf4XJY https://t.co/RnEaKNwpaF

🔥 That didn’t take long. Here is the newest and biggest story corporate media is trying to bury this month. It’s been covered — a little — but quietly. I’ll bet 90% of you guys never heard about it.

Six days ago, CBS ran a short story headlined, “Nicaragua Gives Permission for Russian Troops to Enter Country.

Wait, what?

On the same day, the Hill — which didn’t even report the story as straight news — ran an op-ed headlined, “With Russian Forces Set to Enter Central America, How Will the US Respond?” That doesn’t sound too good.

So what’s going on?

CBS’s story’s first graph explains: “The government of Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega has authorized Russian troops, planes and ships to deploy to Nicaragua for purposes of training, law enforcement or emergency response.”

Ah. Not just troops. PLANES and SHIPS too. Remind me, what do we call troops plus planes plus ships? Like, “an army” or something? Anyway, the Hill’s op-ed adds that in previous arrangements of this kind, such as in Myanmar, Russia’s similar “training access” has morphed into a permanent military base.

Try to follow me here. Nicaragua is only about 1,000 miles from our southern border. That’s within missile range.

Now, OUR media doesn’t seem too interested in this dull, boring story. What’s the big deal? It’s just for training and law enforcement purposes. Like Russia has anything better to do with those troops, planes, and ships anyway. Yawn.

Our media may not be interested, but RUSSIA’S media is all over it. Some kind of over-produced Russian TV network news show aired a story about all this on June 9th, and the anchor lady said (translated):

“The most unpleasant cherry atop the democratic cake for the United States was the sensational announcement that [Ortega has] permitted Russian troops, ships and planes to enter Nicaragua. Of course, only for humanitarian purposes. Russian troops can enter Nicaragua in the second part of 2022. What did you want? If American missile systems can reach nearly Moscow from Ukrainian territory, it’s time for Russia to roll out something powerful — closer to the American city on a hill.”

That’s what the Russians are talking about. Here? Crickets.

Notice the reference to American missile systems. Those are the ones Joe Biden just sent to the Ukrainians based on their oral promises to not fire them directly into Russia. I guess the Russians saw that as an escalation, or something, for some reason.

You’d think by now, at least ONE U.S. reporter would have asked that Pierre lady about this, if not Biden himself.

We’re shutting this down, right Joe? This aggression will not stand? Joe? Hello?

But it gets even more interesting. The U.S. got sideways with Nicaragua back in March, when the Nicaraguan government criticized the U.S. for its 43 biolabs in Ukraine and said they should be investigated. The U.S. responded the next day by putting nine Nicaraguan officials on the “no travel” list. Tit, tat.

The WHO’s registry, which lists biolabs like the ones in Ukraine, also includes a “veterinary research” biolab in Nicaragua — owned by WEF-affiliated Canada. That makes sense, right, that Canada has a biolab in Nicaragua?

Russia seems to be very focused just now on the countries hosting these WEF-affiliated biolabs.

Independent online analysts speculate that all these DOD-WEF-Gates-Biden-linked “veterinary research” labs were created over the last several years to evade gain of function research restrictions. Animal research gives them cover to claim they aren’t actually building any “human” virus weapons. Instead, they innocuously claim to be working on genetically enhanced mosquitos and stuff.

Like BAT viruses.

Get it? Biolabs -> Covid -> Ukraine. It SEEMS connected because it IS connected.

Russia appears to be determined to expose what the democrats and their WEF allies have been up to lately. I have a feeling we’re going to learn a LOT, and sooner rather than later. And we’re not going to like it.

🔥 In late April, Judicial Watch ran a story on its website headlined, “Records Reveal Safety Lapses and Violations at U.S. Biosafety Laboratories that Conduct Research on Dangerous Agents and Toxins.”

Judicial Watch described heavily-redacted records and communications it finally got from the Federal Select Agent Program (FSAP) showing “safety lapses and violations” at U.S. biosafety laboratories researching dangerous agents and toxins. The “lapses” included mishaps, human errors, animal escapes, improper and defective personal protective equipment, facility equipment failures and containment failures, which continue at some of the United States’ most secure and regulated high-containment biosafety laboratories.

It’s an alarming article with a LOT of detail. Then, just yesterday, Judicial Watch posted a tweet referring to its biolab story and wondering — same as me —if U.S. labs are this bad, how bad are labs in places like Nicaragua?

🦸‍♂️ It turns out that, according to the Tampa Bay Times, Florida is the only state that turned down the chance to pre-order pediatric covid vaccine doses for kids. At a news conference in the Everglades announcing the annual python capture challenge (welcome to Florida!), DeSantis explained, “our Department of Health has been very clear: The risks outweigh the benefits and we recommend against [the covid vaccines for kids].”

Boom. Take that, baby-jabbers!

DeSantis explained that people can jab their toddlers if they want to, for some reason, but the State of Florida isn’t getting involved in all of that. “Doctors can get it. Hospitals can get it. But there’s not going to be any state programs that are going to be trying to get covid jabs to infants and toddlers and newborns,” he said. “That’s not something that we think is appropriate, and so that’s not where we’re going to be utilizing our resources.”

Yesterday, DeSantis defended the state’s decision to snippy reporters, explaining there is “practically zero risk” of covid complications in children, and — if you can believe this — he called the vaccine clinical trial data “abysmal.” The governor noted, as I have, that the FDA committee’s decision seemed more driven by fearful parents than by science. “Why would [some parents] be frightened about [covid in kids]? It’s because of media hysteria. It’s because of a lot of misinformation. That’s why they’re scared,” he observed.

The Times said exasperated White House Press Secretary Whatshername-Pierre responded to DeSantis’ comments yesterday, grousing that Florida’s decision will just make finding a vaccine harder for parents in the state. “Some pharmacies and community health centers in the state get access to federal distribution channels, but those options are limited for parents,” Jean-Pierre mournfully said.

Everyone’s least-favorite medical maniac Anthony Fauci, allegedly double-jabbed and double-boosted, somehow got covid this week. That’s too bad. I held off reporting about it yesterday to see if the old beagle torturer would use his symptomatic covid to evade testifying before Senator Paul yesterday afternoon.

He did not. He testified by Zoom. Under Paul’s relentless grilling, Fauci testily admitted that, even though the Biden Administration recommends that everyone over the age of 5 gets a booster, there is currently insufficient evidence to prove that the boosters actually lower rates of hospitalization or death in children. Fox reported the exchange in a story yesterday headlined, “Fauci Admits ‘Not Enough Data’ to Show Recommended Boosters for 5-Year-Olds Work.”

So.

Yesterday a Washington DC court sentenced Dr. Simone Gold, founder of America’s Frontline Doctors, to 60 days in jail for trespassing in the Capitol Building during the mostly peaceful January 6th protest. Gold pleaded guilty in January, probably hoping that her cooperation and her apology — she told the Court she was “ashamed” of her conduct — would result in a lighter sentence, such as those usually given to first-time offenders like Gold.

DOJ prosecutors had demanded the Court jail Gold for three months, even though she only entered the Capitol briefly, made a short speech against vaccine mandates, and then left. The prosecutors argued that, in addition to a medical degree, Gold earned a law degree from Stanford, and should have known better. The good news, I suppose, is the Court sentenced her less than what the DOJ wanted.

Gold had requested to attend the sentencing hearing by Zoom, because the Court’s previous orders barred her from entering Washington DC. But the judge required her to appear in person anyway. In his remarks from the bench, the sentencing judge said her punishment had nothing to do with free speech or jab politics. “It ain’t about free speech,” he explained. “January 6 was about a lot of things, but it wasn’t about free speech or Covid vaccinations… the only reason you are here is where and when and how you chose to express your views.”

I can’t imagine how Dr. Gold must be feeling just now. She doesn’t have any viable appellate options that I can see, since she already pleaded guilty. (Caveat: I am not a criminal law specialist.) But I would encourage Dr. Gold to look at the sentence as a blessing. I’m not kidding. She’ll have two uninterrupted months to think and write and work and reflect. Other great figures in history have used similar circumstances to achieve glorious things. I suggest she starts by reading Reverend Martin Luther King, Jr’s 1963 “Letter from Birmingham Jail.”

We could all use two months to get organized and prepared for whatever comes next. Admittedly, jail’s not my FIRST choice, of course. A patio near the beach would work too. Just saying.

At least now we know the federal government is serious about cracking down on crimes. Right? Fox News ran an article yesterday headlined, “Cotton: Garland Must Resign Over DOJ Inaction on Jane’s Revenge, More Than 50 Attacks on Pro-Life Groups.”

Senator Cotton is mad about his repeated and unanswered demands for DOJ to investigate over FIFTY attacks on pro-life pregnancy centers and churches in recent weeks, all purportedly directed or carried out by a leftwing group calling itself Jane’s Revenge.

I don’t like to just pop off with a hot take on stories like this, so I did the right thing: I called Merrick Garland to get his side of the story. Here’s the transcript from the call.

JEFF: Hi, is this Judge Garland?

GARLAND: Yes, this is Attorney General Garland speaking.

JEFF: General, can I ask a few questions to get DOJ’s side of the story?

GARLAND: Fire away. But first tell me your pronouns.

JEFF: Sure; he, him, himself, his, hime, himlet. First question — is it domestic terrorism when moms berate school boards?

GARLAND: That’s easy. Of course.

JEFF: Okay. Is it domestic terrorism when there’s an organized national effort to firebomb churches and pregnancy centers over a political issue?

GARLAND: Putin.

JEFF: What?

GARLAND: What was the question?

JEFF: Does DOJ think an organized national campaign to firebomb churches and pregnancy centers is domestic terrorism?

GARLAND: I’m not following you.

JEFF: Remember how moms chewing out school board is terrorism?

GARLAND: Yes.

JEFF: Well, what about bombing churches?

GARLAND: It depends.

JEFF: What does it depend on?

GARLAND: Drag show.

JEFF: What?

GARLAND: What?

JEFF: Did you say, “drag show?”

GARLAND: When did I say that?

JEFF: Just now.

GARLAND: I think you misunderstood me.

JEFF: Okay, but what about the churches?

GARLAND: What churches?

JEFF: The firebombed ones.

GARLAND: Somebody’s firebombing churches?

JEFF: Yes.

GARLAND: What about it?

JEFF: Is it domestic terrorism in DOJ’s view, or not?

GARLAND: Wait, who are we talking about again?

JEFF: Not “who.” It’s a “what.” Churches.

GARLAND: I’m getting confused. What are you trying to ask me.

JEFF: Is a national plan to bomb churches for political reasons domestic terrorism to the DOJ?

GARLAND: Sorry, I got to go. Joe’s on the other line.

JEFF: Sure, no problem, but quickly, what’s the answer?

JEFF: Hello? Judge Garland?

GARLAND: [Dial tone.]

That was the call. So I hope that clears everything up. You’re welcome.

Have a fabulous Friday, and I’ll see you tomorrow!
